March 30 – St. Louis City SC, whose debut in the MLS this season has seen them set debut records winning each of their first five games, has added car rental business Enterprise as a ‘Founding Partner’ sponsor in a wide-ranging multi-year agreement.
As part of the sponsorship Enterprise will set up the ‘Enterprise Community Corner’ at St Louis’ newly opened CityPark stadium, celebrating the “rich diversity of organizations across the St. Louis region that support a range of civic and philanthropic causes.”
Enterprise was founded in St Louis and is proud of its local heritage. The company was quick to step up to support the team in its inaugural season in the MLS.
As well as launching the Enterprise Community Corner, the club and Enterprise will highlight one ‘Exceptional Neighbor’ at each regular season home game, including a live halftime interview to highlight their accomplishments.
Enterprise will also serve as the Official Mobility Partner of the club, sponsor the northeast gate at CityPark and have a physical and digital brand presence in the stadium and on digital properties.
“Enterprise began as a small car leasing business in St. Louis, and we owe much of our success to this community,” said Enterprise Holdings President and CEO Chrissy Taylor. “This partnership embodies our shared commitment with St. Louis CITY SC to give back to our community. We are so proud to support our hometown in this exciting endeavor and to bring people together through a shared love of soccer.”
Enterprise will provide up to 159 free tickets to guests of selected local organisations for every home match, with the goal of highlighting exceptional community work.
“This new partnership with Enterprise is really a celebration of two STLMade organizations who are both deeply invested in St. Louis,” said St. Louis CITY SC’s President and Chief Executive Officer Carolyn Kindle.
“This exciting program will not only allow us to recognize some of the amazing individuals and organizations who are making St. Louis a special place to live through civic, economic and educational initiatives, but also enable us to introduce more people across our community to the game of soccer.”
